Another round of spicy Valorant tech just dropped, and this time it’s focused on Riot’s newest map, Corrode. MrLowlander is back with another community-fueled Tips and Tricks episode, and it’s jam-packed with sneaky pixel spots, cheeky wallbangs, and even some game-bending bugs. Whether you’re a trickster main, a ranked grinder, or just want to outplay your lobby in the weirdest way possible, this is your guide.

Corrode Tricks You Didn’t Know (But Should)

Look Over Smokes With This Heaven Peek

If the enemy smokes off B Main, hop on the box near the window – you can actually see into heaven and hold off rotations. It’s free info and catches your enemies completely off guard.

Vandal Wallbang From Heaven? Yes Please

Normally you’d need an Odin to wallbang into the B “hood” post-plant, but not if you plant deep right and take control of heaven. From there, Vandal shots can wallbang the top of the hood for free kills.

The Mid Crouch Problem

This might get patched soon, but for now – attackers can crouch under vision in mid, abusing a defender sightline flaw. Stand a bit more forward on defense to prevent it.

More Tricks Across Valorant Maps

Hidden Sage Wall Spam on Corrode

Place your Sage wall on a box in front of B and you can peek through the window into site. Bonus: If enemies are on the hood, they can’t see your wall unless they rotate wide. Free wallbangs incoming.

Cypher Cam from Behind the Glass

Position a cam from behind the same B window by jumping and aiming at a specific corner. It’s barely visible from site and gives you solid vision for rotates or B executes.

Invisible Wall Bug on Corrode

Yes, you read that right. Some walls on Corrode aren’t solid to abilities. A molly can go through a wall into B’s back corner – unintentionally catching enemies off guard. Riot? Fix this.

Mechanics, Myths & Mild Madness

Did You Know Crouching Increases Fall Damage?

If you crouch while falling from height (like Haven window), you actually take more fall damage – by 1 HP. Might not matter most rounds, but hey, sometimes a sliver is all you have.

Judge + Outlaw Combo = Chaos

Outlaw does 140 damage. A Judge from long range does ~14. Together? Free kills. It’s a janky combo and definitely not meta, but it’ll tilt your enemies off the server.

Wall Thickness Affects Damage

Wallbang damage depends not only on material (wood vs. metal) but also how thick the wall is. The thicker the wall, the less damage your bullet does. Great for Operator mains who want max damage.

Silly But Genius: Breach Ult Boosts & Gun Juggling

  • Use Breach ult to launch yourself ONTO boxes. FunkyLlama even got a kill while stunned on a box.
  • You can also defuse behind a Sage wall using Breach’s ult to boost over it. Style points, secured.
  • Gun delivery via juggling – drop and catch weapons across the map for your teammate… or just walk the gun to them. It’s clunky, but hilarious.

Solo Post-Plant Setups on Corrode

  • Viper Heaven Ultimate: Plant behind the hood on B, pop Viper’s ult from heaven. You’ll cover every site entry and be nearly impossible to find.
  • Sage Wall Plant on A: Wall off the entrance, plant behind the gap, and make retakes a nightmare. Great for wasting enemy utility.

Buggy Jet Spot on Abyss

Float out and land on an invisible pixel ledge off the map. Totally useless in a fight, but great if you’re saving an Operator or being petty.

Final Thoughts

Corrode is already shaping up to be one of Valorant’s most abusable maps in terms of tricks, bugs, and cheesy utility. Some of these may get patched, but until then, take advantage of the confusion and start pulling off TikTok-worthy plays.

Frequently Asked Questions about Corrode Tricks and Valorant Mechanics

Q: Can you peek over smokes on Corrode B Main?
A: Yes! By jumping on the box near the B window, you can peek into heaven even if Main is smoked. Enemies won’t expect it.

Q: Can you wallbang the B hood post-plant with a Vandal?
A: Yes. If you plant the spike deep right and rotate to heaven, you can wallbang the hood’s upper section with a Vandal for an effective post-plant.

Q: Is it true crouching causes more fall damage in Valorant?
A: Surprisingly, yes. If you crouch while falling from height, you’ll take slightly more fall damage than if you don’t.

Q: What’s the crouch trick on Corrode mid?
A: Attackers can crouch past a specific sightline in mid to avoid being seen. Defenders can counter this by holding from a slightly more forward position.

Q: Does wall thickness affect wallbang damage?
A: Absolutely. Thicker walls reduce bullet damage when wallbanging, so thinner parts of walls deal more damage through.

Q: Are there bugs or exploits on Corrode?
A: Yes, including invisible walls that let some abilities pass through. There’s also a known bug where you can molly through a wall near B.

Q: What’s a funny trick with Breach’s ultimate?
A: You can use Breach’s ult to launch yourself (or be launched) onto boxes or even over Sage walls to defuse. It’s a fun mechanic, but risky.

Q: Is there a solo Viper post-plant setup on Corrode?
A: Yes. You can plant behind the B hood and ult from heaven for full coverage. Combine it with molly lineups for nearly unstoppable post-plant control.

Q: Is the Judge + Outlaw combo real?
A: Technically, yes. If a teammate hits 140 damage with Outlaw, a Judge can finish the kill from long range. It’s meme-worthy but impractical.

Q: Can I hide off the map on Abyss as Jett?
A: There’s a bug where Jett can float to an invisible ledge and survive. It’s not useful for fighting, but you can save weapons or be annoying.
