- Ascent
- Bind
- Haven
- Icebox
- Lotus

🔁 The Problem With “Rotation” — Kanga Weighs In
Not everyone is thrilled about Fracture being removed. As known Valorant content creator Kanga pointed out, the current map rotation system is starting to show cracks:
“Fracture out already is an awful choice… where is Breeze?”
“The 7 map pool ‘rotation’ works best when it’s actually a consistent rotation, not when some maps are left to rot while others get preference.”
Kanga also highlights the growing concern around map selectability in ranked as more maps are added. While Riot’s goal is to keep the map pool manageable, leaving maps like Breeze on the bench indefinitely has drawn criticism from players and creators alike.
Historical Map Pool Rotation (Visualized)
Looking at Riot’s official map rotation history, it’s clear some maps have had longer breaks than others.
- Sunset returns after being out since Patch 10.04
- Breeze has now sat out of the rotation for three full patches
- Fracture was only active for two patches before being rotated again

Final Thoughts
Sunset is a fan-favorite for many, but the way Riot rotates maps has become a hot topic. While fresh variety is good for gameplay, consistency and fairness in rotation would go a long way in maintaining trust and excitement within the player base.
For now, all eyes are on Sunset’s return and how it shifts the ranked and competitive metas in Act 3.
